How Netanyahu survived the political fallout from the October 7 attacks

Three years after the deadly Hamas-led October 7 attacks in southern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting for political survival ahead of legislative elections later this month. Reports that Arab leaders warned him of the assault in advance have undercut his claims that Israel's security chiefs are to blame, but his political base appears to be holding.
