Awori: China MOU to Ease Africa’s USD Liquidity Pressure

Ecobank and China's Cross-Border Interbank Payment System have signed a MOU to strengthen payment connectivity between China and Africa. It comes as the pan-African banking group opens its first office in Beijing. Jeremy Awori, Group CEO of Ecobank spoke to Bloomberg’s Chief Africa Correspondent Jennifer Zabasajja on Horizons Middle East & Africa about their agreement with China plus their operations in Senegal and the future of their Chairman.
