Paris, the day after: A city on edge taking stock of the damage
In several neighborhoods, the scars left by the violence of the October 17 demonstrations were visible on many streets on Sunday. Torn between disgust and understanding, Parisians were trying to make sense of what happened. In the evening, sporadic clashes broke out once again around Place de la République.
