Italy, Spain, Belgium, Portugal: Social unrest spreads across Europe amid soaring energy prices and a housing crisis

France is not the only country where the cost of living is driving people into the streets. Images of protests, some violent, are multiplying across Europe. Italians have been called to a general strike on November 20, while similar actions are planned for November 11 in Spain and Portugal.
