Abdul El-Sayed, the doctor vying for a crucial US Senate seat for the Democrats, made his closing pitch to Michigan voters at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, in one of America's poorest communities. The left-wing former medical administrator has drawn huge crowds at campaign rallies across Michigan with his promise to make healthcare free for all Americans.
