Report: South Korea's anti-piracy unit to expand operations closer to Hormuz Strait South Korea's anti-piracy Cheonghae unit will expand its operations into waters nearby the Strait of Hormuz, according to a report by the Yonhap News Agency citing the Korean Defence Ministry. The government is set to submit a motion to parliament to extend the period of the unit's deployment to the region, which is expected to expire at the end of this year.
