Amid a sharp market selloff and a steep drop in semiconductor stocks, Sarah Bianchi discusses concerns that the US midterm election results could lead to tighter constraints on AI infrastructure. She expects delays and says some communities will gain more authority to reject data center projects. In Texas, the incoming Democratic governor has indicated she could move beyond a moratorium if projects include provisions such as no tax incentives, community benefits and local control.
