Hezbollah MP slams statement issued by US and allies
MP Ali Ammar of Hezbollah on Friday said a statement issued by the embassies of the U.S., the UK, Australia, Canada and Japan represented the “peak of lowness and insolence.” Ammar blasted what he called the “blatant audacity in interfering in the finest details of Lebanese internal affairs -- without any regard for Lebanon’s sovereignty, the independence of its judiciary, diplomatic protocol, or the dignity of the Lebanese people, reaching the point of attempting to determine its national choices and dictate political directions upon it.”
