Yemen: 30 dead in strikes on Taiz market

At least 30 people have reportedly been killed in an attack on a market in Yemen’s Taiz province, with Houthi rebels blaming Saudi airstrikes. Government forces and local authorities have disputed the claim, instead accusing the Houthis of indiscriminate fire. The province has witnessed intense clashes in recent weeks and is home to around half of the more than 300,000 people displaced by the latest fighting. Caroline Baum reports.
