Over 40,000 Vietnamese lured into $15.7mn AI livestream investment scam

More than 40,000 Vietnamese people were drawn into an investment scam disguised as an AI-powered livestreaming platform, pouring VND407 billion (US$15.7 million) into a system that promised daily returns from automated online sales, police said.
