現代バイオサイエンス、米学会でデング熱治療薬の臨床戦略発表
現代バイオサイエンスは26日、米ワシントンDCで開かれた感染症学術大会「IDウィーク」に参加したと発表した。ウイルスを抑制する候補物質「ゼフティ」の臨床戦略を発表した。ゼフティはベトナムでデング熱患者を対象に臨床第2・3相試験を進めている。ベトナムでは毎年40万人を超えるデング熱患者が発生している。高温多湿の気候で、デング熱を媒介する蚊が繁殖しやすいためだ。
