SBI inaugrates centre of excellence for cybersecurity

The inauguration of CyRIS by SBI marks a significant step in advancing cybersecurity measures and threat intelligence in finance. Centered around THINK, INNOVATE, and DEFEND, it promotes a cooperative approach among banks, fintechs, and regulators to strengthen resilience. CS Setty, SBI chairman, underscored that bolstering cybersecurity is crucial for maintaining customer trust and proactively addressing threats, alongside regular training for employees and raising customer awareness on digital safety.
