Algeria to deploy army units to Niger to protect economic interests
Algeria will send army units to Niger to protect energy and economic interests, according to a statement from the presidency on Monday (October 26). Algeria's Parliament held an emergency vote on Sunday on what would be Algeria's first such foreign mission since 1973.
