Former Fed President Harker Says Policy Is Not Restrictive

Former Philadelphia Federal Reserve President Patrick Harker expects the Fed to hold steady on interest rates Wednesday, saying, “I don’t think that’s the correct decision in my mind, but that’s what you’re gonna get.” Harker says the central bank will have to signal that more tightening is probably going to be warranted.
