Campaign coordinator says he was surprised by Flávio’s escape
Senator Rogério Marinho of the Liberal Party (PL), who coordinated Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign, told the press on Tuesday (Oct. 27) that he was unaware of Flávio and his family’s departure for the US. “We are surprised because yesterday we discussed the need for Flávio - with the 60 million votes he received - to take on a leadership role in the opposition, which is important because, in our assessment, we have a government that has clearly been harmful to the country,” said Marinho after attending a meeting with lawmakers and political leaders from the PL in Brasília.
