West Bank: settlers using drones to monitor Palestinians

"We feel like we’re being watched all the time." In the occupied West Bank, Palestinian farmers are speaking out against the extensive use of drones by Israeli settlers and the Israeli military. According to activists and researchers, this practice is aimed, in part, at monitoring new Palestinian construction. In 2026, the Israeli government allocated a budget of 50 million shekels (over 14 million euros) to outposts and illegal settlements in the West Bank to fund so-called "security" equipment—which includes these drones.
