Estonia wants to lease trains to Latvia

Estonia's state-owned passenger rail operator Elron wants to modernize the trains running between Tartu and Rīga to attract more passengers to the route. It would also like to rent the trains to Latvians for use on local routes, reports Estonian public media ERR News, citing a letter the company sent to the Ministry of Climate.
