Crew of vessel that sustained fire in Hormuz evacuated Local authorities have confirmed that the crew of a vessel that sustained fire off the Omani coast after an attack has been evacuated, accoridng to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). “Regional authorities have identified the vessel as a dhow, which was involved in a maritime security incident, igniting a large fire onboard, causing the dhow to list and sink,” UKMTO said.
