COP17 on biodiversity: nations agree on push to get nature goals back on track

Delegates cheered as the crucial texts were approved in overtime on Friday, following two weeks of tense negotiations at the UN summit. Ecuador was also chosen to host the next UN biodiversity summit, COP18, in 2028.
