Canada backing UAE claim on Iranian islands violates UN Charter principles: FM spox

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei condemns Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s support for the United Arab Emirates’ claim over three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf, calling it a blatant contradiction and a flagrant violation of the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
