Former footballer Gorkšs confirmed as Latvia's next head of civil service

The former Director-General of the Latvian Employers’ Confederation (LDDK), Kaspars Gorkšs, has been appointed Head of the State Chancellery. This was decided by the government on Tuesday, 20 October.
